After years as a magazine journalist covering the media industry and public policy, I leveraged my research, writing, and rhetorical skills to pursue a career as an attorney. During my more than 25 years practicing law, I have focused on legislative and policy campaigns to reduce incarceration and reform the criminal legal system.
